Nice rimless Aviator style

Have had several Hoolens pairs since their first Kickstarter campaign, this is my second rimless style and first varifocal pair. The fit is nice, varifocal is good but the relatively tall lens height make the transition feel much different from other varifocal lenses I have. Also my prescription (SpecSavers in UK) gives me 3 sets of power and the Hoolens form only allows for 2 sets (distance and reading, o intermediate). However the speed I received my frames was very quick and the follow up service after the sales campaign is very good.

Very comfortable

I backed these on Kickstarters and ordered them as sunglasses. They are super light and comfortable. The lenses are very clear and distortion free.

Really like the look but there's room for improvement

I like the look of the thin golden frame. They feel really light as well. Only downsides the lenses look incredibly big compared to the frame (I did not get extra lense thinning). I also got the green transition lenses. I gotta say the green is not nearly as strong as on the kickstarter but they still look nice.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout.

How long until my order arrives?

Once the survey is filled, we'll start the production that will take 2.5 months.
The process to build your glasses will take from 2 to 10 days. From the moment you receive your tracking, the parcel takes from 2 days to 5 days to reach the destination

Will I Have To Pay Duties / VAT for my glasses ?

That depends on your local tax code. Any applicable duties/VAT are the sole responsibility of the customers. We do not have any control over charging each customer additional duties/VAT at the time the order is made, therefore these fees (if applicable) may be imposed at the time of receiving the package. If you have any doubts whether or not you will be charged duties/VAT for your order, please contact your local post office. All our parcels will be shipped from Europe. ( No custom fee for EU countries)
